Secretariat
The secretariat is in charge of ECSA's permanent representation in Brussels and of the daily management of organization. The ECSA office was opened in 2010.

Secretary General
Patrick Ager was appointed as ECSA Secretary General in 2010. Prior to his assignment with ECSA, Patrick Ager worked at the Austrian Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs and at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. Mr. Ager speaks French, English and German and studied Political Science in Vienna and Bordeaux, as well as Copyright Law at Kings' College London.

Executive Officer
Elzbieta Kubok joined ECSA as Executive Assistant in April 2012. Prior to her appointment, Ms Kubok worked at the Cabinet of the President of the European Parliament and as researcher at the Institute for Human Rights of the University College of London. Elzbieta Kubok holds a Masters degree in Human Rights from University College London, a Masters in Economics and a Bachelor in International Politics. Ms. Kubok speaks Polish and English, with basics of German, Spanish and French.
Research Assistant
Antoine Van Lierde joined ECSA as Research Assistant while finishing a Master in Communication and European Politics at IHECS. He holds a BSc in Audio Production from Middlesex University / SAE Institute London and is active in the Brussels electronic music scene. Prior to his appointment, Antoine has worked in digital media technology strategy at the Samsung Electronics Research Institute in the UK. He speaks English and French fluently and has basics in Dutch.

Program Officer
Audrey De Wael joined ECSA in June 2013. Previous to her appointment at ECSA she worked at AFS Programmes Interculturels in Brussels. Beforehand Ms. De Wael also worked for the Trough Thoughts Record company in Brighton , UK. Ms. De Wael graduated from IHECS ‐ Institut des Hautes Etudes des Communications Sociales with degrees in Applied Communication and MA in Public Relations and Knowledge Management. Ms De Wael is a Belgian citizen and speaks French, English and Dutch.
