ECSA regroups the three main genres of music composition in three committees:
popular music
Apcoe is the committee of ECSA that deals specifically with issues affecting the composers and songwriters of popular music. The apcoe committee mainly deals with issues such as authors' rights, collective management of rights and general concerns of music writers. The apcoe committee is named after APCOE (Alliance of popular music composers in Europe), which was integrated recently as new genre specific committee in ECSA.
Jörg Evers (Germany) is chairing the APCOE committee on behalf of ECSA President Alfons Karabuda, who together with Jean-Marie Moreau, acts as Vice-chairpersons.
art & classical music
Ecf is the committee of ECSA that deals specifically with issues affecting the composers of arts and concert music. The Ecf committee stimulates and initiates activities to promote contemporary music creation in Europe and acts as a impulse setter to increase the awareness for and the reception of contemporary music. The Ecf committee is named after European Composers Forum, which was integrated recently as new genre specifc committee in ECSA.

film and audio-visual music
Fface is the committee of ECSA dealing specifically with issues affecting composers of film and audiovisual music. The committee aims to assert and maintain the specificity of the profession, reinforce the dialogue with producers, editors and broadcasters and to facilitate exchanges and mobility at the time of international co-productions. The fface committee is name after FFACE (federation of film and audiovisual composers in Europe), which intergrated recently as new genre specific committee in ECSA.
