JEAN-MICHEL BERNARD

Jean-Michel Bernard regularly worked with Ray Charles and has recently collaborated with screenwriter Charlie Kaufman (“Being John Malkovitch”) and French director Michel Gondry (Björk, Rolling Stones, “Eternal Sunshine”) on the film “Human Nature”. Mr. Bernard also collaborated with other composers such as Claude Bolling, Lalo Schifrin and Ennio Morricone.
CORO GABRIEL

Coro Gabriel are a Sardinian ‘choir’ – that is, a group of singers dedicated to performing the ritual music of a particular geographical location. In Sardinia, such rituals are usually of a religious nature. Many village churches and religious foundations still have such confraternite or ‘brotherhoods’.
HUSH

You take a teenage busker influenced by the classic singer-songwriter tradition and a former heavy metal guitarist who has grown bored with speed-rock and is looking for something a little more soulful. You put them together to write some songs. Along the way they fall in love and make four beguiling albums of country-tinged melodic rock that take them to the top of the Danish charts. That, in a nutshell, is the story of HUSH.
ALPHA

ALPHA consists of musicians, who have made their mark on European music life – Bolette Roed on recorder and Peter Navarro-Alonso on classical saxophone. ALPHA’s musical concept is unique – A classical ensemble, commissioning pieces, improvising, playing folk music from all over the world, diving into electro acoustic music, electronica and medieval music as well as composing themselves. A stylistic span from the 14th century to newly written works, from Orthodox Georgian chorals to minimalistic techno.
KLAUS RISAGER

He is well known for his theatrical performances in Denmark. As a composer, musician and singer he is inspired by the twisted realities to be found in drama. He creates music with a variety of elements taken from tango, flamingo and classical music using odd instruments and a lot of rhythm. Searching for an insistent presence and songs with a poetic and demonic sensitivity. The act Muse of Fire was Reumert-Rewarded in 2009. A collage of scenes taken from 13 different plays by William Shakespeare. Old and beautiful words in a new context and accompanied by new compositions.
